Chapter 2. Plan security
Securing assets within a SharePoint environment is a multilayered process. This chapter begins with a discussion of how users become authenticated into the system and then progress into the authorization that is assigned in order to secure access to objects in the farm.
In addition to pure authentication and authorization, we will discuss how to go about setting up a secure infrastructure and assigning policies that will eventually result in a secure system.
