As identified in Chapter 1: What is Agile?, Agile methodologies are used by thousands of organizations worldwide – including Bankwest, Nokia Siemens Networks, Yahoo!, Google, Microsoft, SunCorp and BT – to produce high business-value outcomes in the delivery of their software solutions. Agile methodologies have been equally successful in private and public sector organizations of all sizes, particularly throughout the United States and Europe.
