Letter and Envelope Formats
To ensure that your letter is well-received, and out of convenience to the recipient of your letter, you’ll want to follow an accepted format, or way to lay it out on the page. Modern computer word-processing programs, with their letter and envelope templates and their automatic page formats, can greatly help you with this, but they do not cover every possible form of letter or envelope that you might need. (And please note, much of what is discussed in this chapter does not apply to e-mail, which does not require an envelope, as we all know!)
