When Will You Collect Data?
The timing of evaluation efforts can determine how much you measure and how well the data reflect actual results (figure 11-4). The longer you wait to evaluate, the more cumulative the results you observe will be, but the more those results will be influenced by other causes.

The level of knowledge or degree of application of training can vary during-the months following training. Measuring right after training may overstate results for a learning evaluation but understate them for a performance evaluation and miss them altogether for a business results evaluation.
