Reasons to Conduct a Level 3 Evaluation
A performance evaluation is called for when the gap between knowing and doing is critical to business success. Use a level 3 evaluation where training is targeted at directly improving on-the-job (OJT) performance. Though costly, level 3 evaluations are worthwhile if failure to apply knowledge and skills has been a problem or if putting theory into practice is a high priority within the organization.
