What a Response Evaluation Tells You
A level 1, or response, evaluation reveals learners’ immediate reaction to training. It can help answer questions such as these:
Did training meet the expectations of learners?
Did learners find the learning experience emotionally and intellectually satisfying?
Did learners believe that they personally benefited from the training?
Was the style of presentation (facilitator, displays, activities) acceptable to learners?
How motivated were learners relative to the difficulties posed by the training?
Did learners complete enough of the course for learning to take place?
