Assessing for Workflow and Preservation

Abstract

Demand-driven acquisitions (DDA) can have a big impact on institutional workflows, bringing together departments that once functioned separately like acquisitions and interlibrary loan. This can be a challenge to productivity in the short term, but the long term impacts include greater communication and collaboration between teams and a better environment for data assessment across the library. This chapter will discuss case studies from the research of new workflows created through DDA within the library and with external partners.
