The final piece of the puzzle is you as the leader. What does this all mean for you personally? Not just in terms of your leadership practice, but beyond that to your beliefs, attitudes, and expectations of yourself and of others? You will have got the message by now that the whole topic of ethical leadership is personal. This is where it differs from other forms of competency to some degree. Optimally, ethics is not something we do separately from who we believe we are.
