Part 2 is on applications. Since this is an introductory course, the applications are not extensive. They are illustrative. You ought to recognize that the kinds of problems you actually can solve with MATLAB are much more challenging than the examples provided. However, many of the examples can be a starting point for the development of solutions to more challenging problems. The goal of this part of the text is to begin to scratch the surface of the true power of MATLAB.
