Eric Meyer on CSS: Mastering the Language of Web Design

Project Goals

Our primary goal here is to create a visually pleasing card to send out to friends and colleagues. We’ll accomplish this by using basic positioning to place text over an image, and we’ll look at ways to keep the text from fading into parts of the image that are a close color match. Then we’ll create alternate card looks by repositioning the text elements with respect to the base image. By the end, we’ll have three different layouts for this card.
