There are many other ways to style a calendar in addition to the methods used in this project. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Another possibility when styling the smaller calendar is to put borders between rows instead of boxing in all the cells and centering the dates within their cells.

  2. You can visually distinguish the recurring events in the larger calendar by giving them a slightly different style than nonrecurring events. Color and font changes are the easiest to implement without upsetting the overall design, but it might also be useful to set a border or background color.
