In this section, you’ll give your publications those final touches that can make the difference between mediocrity and greatness. As readers grow more accustomed to using interactive magazine–format publications, they will use the built-in nonlinear navigation systems more and more. Thus, most of the finishing touches you need to focus on include presenting articles well in these navigation systems, identifying the contents of those articles when all that can be seen is a short blurb and a thumbnail image, and ensuring that noneditorial content stays out of the navigation systems.
