Creating Advanced Interactivity

Now that you understand the basics of creating and working with hyperlinks, and especially buttons, let’s go through tutorials for creating more advanced interactive features and effects.

Creating a Print Button

You might want to let readers print your publication (or you might not; the very last section in this chapter talks about securing PDFs to, in part, restrict printing). Assuming you want to allow printing, why not add a custom-designed Print button into your global navigation system?

1. Create a button that readers will click when and if they want to print the publication.
2. On the Buttons And Forms panel, add the action Print Form (see Figure 7-41).
