The idea behind Moo – a business card website that now has hundreds of thousands of customers in 180 countries, came to founder Richard Moross when he was working at a design agency. He told his then-boss about the idea, offering to fund it himself and give the advertising maestro equity in the business, in exchange for a free desk to work from. His boss said no. ‘Facepalm’, as Moross, who decided to quit his day job and give entrepreneurship a try anyway puts it, ‘I’m pretty sure he regrets that now.’
