The Meaning of Architecture

This chapter explores what ‘architecture’ might really mean. In particular it examines the essential differences between ‘architecture’ and ‘plumbing’. Both of these disciplines are of great value, but they are the not the same thing. In the world of ICT people sometimes get confused about which is which.
