Summary

In this chapter, we have seen how to work with Azure IoT hub. We have created an IoT hub and set up a device. Also, we have written a Node.js client that runs on a Raspberry Pi 3, which sends the temperature and humidity data from a DHT11 sensor. We next set up a client that receives this data in real time.

After that, we set up Power BI and a stream analytics job to send data from the IoT hub to Power BI, and, in Power BI, we built a dashboard to visualize the data.

In the next chapter, we are going to work with the Google IoT platform.
