The plans for the data center should include a well-designed power and grounding system to maintain appropriate conditions and avoid unplanned power outages. Numerous factors can disrupt, degrade, or destroy electronic systems. High-frequency, high amplitude noise, high ground currents, low power, surges and sags in voltage, harmonic distortion, and other factors will affect the proper functioning of equipment.
