We have seen the structure of the SOAP message created when a call is placed to the Ship Rater GetQuickRates Web Service, and now we will investigate how to create the necessary Curl code to call this remote process and handle the response. The QuickRates class is used to control the definition and execution of the SOAP call to the GetQuickRates Web Service, as well as being used as a holder for individual result set values.
