Summary

Here, we saw how the enterprise framework rich table control can be used within an application and the minimal code required to provide this exciting, dynamic interface to the user.

In the development of SubMenuEmployee, we saw how to add another sub-menu to the application frame, and how to extend VMSSheetManager to respond to its events. We saw in EmployeeSheet another example of how to call a server-side process that returns an XML message, and how the EmployeeHandler class makes use of the framework's SAX parsing design pattern to process this XML data.

In the next chapter, we will continue our development of enterprise framework controls that provide a rich user experience as we look at how to create a wizard control.
