Summary

In this chapter, we saw how, with minimal coding, to enable a menu and toolbar in an application, and how easily standard menu classes such as SubMenuFile and SubMenu can be used. Using this architecture, you can build specific enterprise-level sub-menu classes that perform functionality that can be reused throughout your company, and quickly integrate them into your applications.

In later chapters, we will see how application-specific sub-menus can be created and added to the array in the {initialize} method; but for now, we will move on and investigate how to build a data grid control that provides advanced presentation and processing functionality.
