Summary

Here, we saw how an application can make use of the MDI frame provided in the enterprise Curl application, and the minimal coding required to make use of its functionality.

We saw how to extend the COM.ENT-CURL.LOGON.Logon class to open an application MDI frame on successful authentication of the user's logon credentials, and how to create a specific application frame, VMSFrame, based on an ancestor component.

In the next chapter, we will look at how to make the application frame more interesting and useful through the creation and provision of a status bar.
