Most programming languages in use today come with a library of reusable components that can be employed and extended to easily create a sophisticated application; for example, the SWING library for Java, the PFC for PowerBuilder, and the namespace libraries provided with the .NET framework. Using the design principles of these sophisticated libraries and frameworks, we will create a similar environment for Curl, one in which we will create a number of reusable classes, components, and packages that can be easily employed in numerous Curl applications.
