Classification process

When starting on the road of ECM it is important to catalogue and categorise all the information assets to be contained. Classification can be separated into three areas: business processes, record sets and document types.

Business processes reflect how the organisation is organised, its sub-groups and its teams. They directly indicate the activities and tasks which take place within it.
