We have seen that there are some fundamentals in addressing people and culture: reward, trust through commitment and collaborative teams. There is neither a straightforward nor a quick means to changing the culture of an organisation. However this is an important part of instituting change through the content maturity model. Culture can be defined as a common belief: a set of values or attitudes. It can also be seen as a set of rituals and the means by which things get done.
To start the assessment we need to analyse the attitudes of people receiving new information:
Do they immediately interpret it differently to how it is intended?
Do they believe it?
Do they ask further questions?
Does the information seem incorrect ...
