Architecture

This chapter is about the architectural aspects of enterprise applications. These include enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and technical architecture among others. As we look through these three main architecture types, we discuss how each relates to enterprise applications, how their concepts translate into real-world scenarios, and how to document each through an appropriate architecture diagram.

Some of the considerations discussed related to technical architecture are server sizing, capacity requirements, performance testing, and virtualization.
