Of all the popular ERP packages, PeopleSoft is the most open. Which is not to suggest that it is simple or easy to use. This beast is actually very difficult. It provides the least amount of information on how it can be integrated with the rest of the enterprise. In fact, obtaining information for this chapter was a bit of a challenge. Fortunately, there are enough projects, and vendors muddling through with them, to allow us to elucidate some basic approaches.
