Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is the product delivery process of a larger framework called Disciplined Agile (DA). DA is a process decision framework, meaning it encourages you to make certain choices at different points in your product delivery, but does not prescribe any specific process to follow to make your organization agile. Instead of prescribing a process, DA offers guidance in the following ways:

  • It describes how various activities of product delivery such as analysis, design, testing, architecture, management, and programming work together as a whole.
  • It stipulates what each of these activities should address.
  • It offers options for conducting each activity and describes the pros and cons of each option.
