CEMF/CDM Startup and Navigation

To start a CEMF user session, which is required before using CDM, go to the Solaris command line in the terminal window and enter the following:

					CEMF_ROOT/bin/cemf session

Replace CEMF_ROOT with the root directory where CEMF is installed (for example, /opt/CEMF3). The splash screen appears, followed by the Login dialog box.

The CEMF Launchpad window contains two group boxes: CEMF Manager and Event Manager, in the upper and lower halves of the screen, respectively.

The CEMF Manager icon group contains the following icons:

  • Viewer— Launches MapViewer, which was first launched by the CEMF session command.

  • Groups— Launches the Object Group Manager.

  • Access— Launches the Access Manager.

  • Events— Launches the Query Editor ...
