WHAT, HOW, WHY, AND WHO OF STATISTICAL MODELING
In order for a survey to deliver actionable insights, it has to provide guidance on what measures matter most and why. Many of the deepest insights from employee surveys are available only through statistical modeling: the social science research foundation that has provided most of the current insights into the factors driving employee motivation and behavior. Yet statistical modeling is rarely used to analyze employee surveys even though the techniques are well developed and relatively easy to apply.
