Conclusion

While it is important to have a strong strategy, quality workforce, and the financial means to execute, without engaged employees you will miss out; retention rates will drop, productivity will suffer, and profits will fall. While success can still be present, lack of engagement cripples the ability for an organization to optimize performance.

Fortunately, companies that have identified this challenge are doing a better job of appealing to the talent they have. But the struggle remains, only 30 percent of workers in the United States are engaged in their daily activities. This means the overwhelming majority of the workforce fail to have a strong motivation to perform their duties. People simply don’t care.
