Realizing improved benefits
Take time to evaluate the benefits of your EHR outcomes. Determine a time (say, a few months post go-live) when you can evaluate the outcomes of your new workflow design and address any areas for change or improvement. Make a few more lists (yep, more lists) and work with your transition team to note (and celebrate) the positive outcomes as well as discuss the areas you hope to improve.
