Adding remote access

Getting rid of that paper chart safety net means that physicians can no longer grab a chart and make notes or update information during rounds or offsite activities. Adding remote access increases your efficiency and provides increased productivity. Perhaps you want to see your schedule for later in the day while you’re rounding in the hospital. Maybe you want home access so you can update charts in your pajamas. Now when you’re on call, you can review a patient’s key clinical information before you tell them to go to the emergency room or not. Depending on your vendor, a smartphone app may exist for accessing patient charts.
