Summary

This chapter covered the concepts of handling relational data in Elasticsearch with the help of nested and parent-child types. We learned about creating mappings, indexing, and querying data using Java and Python. This chapter also covered the pros and cons of using these relationships in Elasticsearch.

In the next chapter, we will learn about the different types of search execution offered by Elasticsearch and write code to re-index data from one index to other.
