Concurrent Versions System

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) is an open-source network-transparent version control system. CVS is useful for everyone from individual developers to large, distributed teams.

CVS is not distributed with Application Developer, but support for CVS is integrated in Application Developer. CVS provides a team programming environment where team members do all of their work in their own Workbench, isolated from each other, and eventually share their work through a CVS repository.

CVS also can be used by a developer in stand-alone mode to keep versions of the code.
