Summary

In this chapter, we presented the possible ways a client application can access and use enterprise beans. We described all the steps that have to be followed and included small programming examples.

We provided a short discussion on access beans and the session facade pattern, and we concluded with a description of the home factory pattern and an implementation of the pattern.
