Intercom

Sitting in the production control room remote from the studio, the director relies on the communal intercom’system (production falkback) to coordinate operations, and convey his/her ideas quickly and precisely to the rest of the production team. There may also be private lines allowing the director to talk to Individual cameras (camera talkback). During rehearsals, the crew usually speaks to the director over the studio mikes.
