Changing Shot— Camera and Switching

When shooting subjects that have little or no movement, you can introduce visual variety by altering the shot or switching.

The simplest way of altering a shot is by zooming or dollying (tracking) to tighten or loosen the framing. So you can readjust the picture, to include or exclude other information; moving in to see detail better (or exclude nearby distractions); moving out to reveal more of the subject or the scene (or introduce additional subjects into the shot).
