External Team Members

Suggestions about forming a team have appeared throughout the book. Some of the components of your team are already in place, even if you haven't officially started forming a team. Once the existing components are identified, relationships with resources outside of the team need to be established. The reason for considering these relationships is to establish lines of communication and have knowledge of each partner's areas of responsibility and capability. Having these relationships built beforehand will allow for very efficient operations when an incident occurs.
