Step 2 – Creating the ALB and associate to the EC2 machine

Create the ALB and associate to the EC2 machine as follows:

Go to Load Balancers | Create Load Balancer and choose the ALB by clicking the Create button on the Application Load Balancer section, as shown in the following screenshot:

Select the internet-facing option from the Scheme section. This is important because we want it to be reachable from the world and we also want at least two subnets in two different AZs:
