Choose the RDS type

If you have a MySQL engine like we saw in the previous example, you can choose between the following instance types:

MySQL Classic
Aurora MySQL
A new type of Serverless Aurora MySQL, found here: https://aws.amazon.com/rds/aurora/serverless/

In most cases, MySQL Classic would be ideal. However, if you know that you will have a big amount of data to manage, Aurora MySQL is ideal. This serverless option is for infrequently-used, variable, and unpredictable workloads instead.
