Summary
Amazon has a robust big data ecosystem component that covers data collection, storage, analysis, and orchestration to support the end-to-end needs for business intelligence. The QuickSight service is part of the analysis component and it has built connectors to onboard data from the various sources including S3, RDS, Redshift, Athena, and Salesforce and this list is continuing to grow. AWS Data Pipeline makes end-to-end orchestration easier and reduces development efforts. In the next chapter, we will look deeper into SPICE, which makes QuickSight responsive even on large datasets.
