Model memory is related to the memory Amazon ML must set aside to build and evaluate your model. It is set, by default, to 100Mb. In the case of the Titanic dataset, the model memory was always below 1Mb as shown by the logs. Model memory is also used to set aside memory when dealing with streaming data.
