Teaching and Learning

The success of any educational reform depends on the quality of the teacher which, in turn, depends on effective teaching-learning process in a classroom. The Program of Action (POA) (1992) envisages, ‘Teacher performance is the most crucial input in the field of education. Whatever policies may be laid down, in the ultimate analysis, these have to be interpreted and implemented by teachers, as much through their personal example as through teaching-learning process’.
