Ant

Ant is the Java-based successor to the venerable make tool. You can use Ant for automating almost any development task, from compiling to testing to packaging and deployment. Eclipse can import and export Ant-based projects, edit Ant files, and run Ant tasks manually or as part of a build process. Next to the Java editor, the Ant editor is one of the most advanced editors available in the IDE, with support for code assist, outlining, and formatting.
