Chapter 16. Browsing the Internet from Your Desktop

Windows 8 includes Internet Explorer 10 (IE10), the latest version of Microsoft’s web browser. When you launch IE10 from the Start screen, you are using a touch-optimized version of the browser that doesn’t fully support Adobe Flash and has limited support for plug-ins. If you use IE10 from the Windows desktop, however, you have a full-featured web browser that fully supports Adobe Flash, other plug-ins, favorites, and other familiar Internet Explorer features.
