Creating a PivotTable

If your worksheet contains extensive data, you can summarize it using a PivotTable report. For example, say you have a worksheet that lists every sale by product and customer over the past four quarters. You could use a PivotTable to summarize sales by product, customer, or quarter.

Image Select the data you want to analyze in your PivotTable.

Image On the Insert tab, click the Recommended PivotTables button.
