Chapter 14. Adding Transitions, Animation, and Video

Now that you have content in your slides to tell your story, you may want to add some enhancements that add movement and activity to your slides.

Animation can provide various parts of your slide with a separate “entrance” like an actor in a movie or play would use. Besides an entrance effect, you can also give a selected object in your slide an Emphasis, Exit, or Motion Path animation. Using the Animation pane and new Animation Painter tool, you can create sophisticated movements within a slide to tell your story sequentially by showing and hiding text, pictures, and shapes.
