iTunes has many features that you won’t necessarily run across in the course of your normal music listening. Each of them provides a way to get more from your iTunes listening experience.

Sharing an iTunes library makes your tunes available to other iTunes users on your network. Another way to share is to play iTunes tracks on your stereo. You can play music from your iTunes library on a home stereo system in three basic ways: connect your computer to the stereo, add your stereo system to your computer network, and connect your iPod to a home stereo system.
