In this part, we shift from the iTunes library back to your iPod. This part discusses adding songs to the iPod and setting the device up to work the way you want it to.

You can add songs and other items to your iPod in two basic ways: sync the iPod to your iTunes library or copy items to the iPod manually, using drag and drop. The process of syncing means iTunes automatically copies the content of your iTunes music library to your iPod without you having to manually copy anything.
