Chapter 4. Reading Your News Feed and Ticker
When you sign into Facebook and open your home page, you see something called the news feed. As the name implies, this is a feed of the most recent status updates (“news”) from people on your friends list.
Most updates are short text messages, although updates can also include photos, videos, notices of upcoming events, and links to other web pages.
